Tubanos are easy to play, student drums – similar to a conga or djembe – and ideal for drummers at any level to play. I used these in my music classroom for years because they instantly excite and engage students.
If you are looking to add some fantastic music programming to your summer camp or after school program – or if you are in need of a one of a kind group experience for a party or scouting group , consider a drum skills class.
Besides working on musical skills such as rhythm and beat, participants will also enhance their motor skills and listening skills. Playing in a drum circle also provides a perfect opportunity to encourage teamwork and cooperation. No previous skills necessary!
I bring my own set of tubanos to accommodate a group of up to 12 students.
